Competition at Its Best

PlayR Masters brings together top Counter-Strike 2 teams for a true LAN experience in Malmö, Sweden. All competitors will play on-site, live, with an electrifying atmosphere for both players and fans.

The event is structured for accessibility and fairness. Every team has equal opportunity: no invites, no qualifiers, just open signups with identical hardware for all teams.

Tournament dates are January 16–17, 2026. Registration starts November 25 at playrmasters.com. Only one team per organization is allowed, and strict integrity policies apply.

Friday, Jan 16: Group Stage (4 groups of 6 teams, Round Robin BO1). All matches are played live in-store for maximum excitement.

Saturday, Jan 17: Playoffs and Grand Final (Single Elimination BO3). The 8 best teams face off for the championship.

All matches take place at PlayR by Faour, Malmö Mobilia, with full audience access.

Prize Pool

1st: 50,000 SEK. 2nd: 25,000 SEK. 3rd–4th: 12,500 SEK each. The total prize pool is 100,000 SEK.

Payout and money policy will be published at playrmasters.com. All taxes and compliance requirements must be met.

No cash prizes will be paid until after full verification and adherence to participation regulations.

Setup & Hardware

All teams will compete on identical computers and monitors supplied and prepared by PlayR. Hardware specifications will be announced soon.

No external setups are permitted. This ensures fairness and consistency for all players competing at the event.

If you have specific accessibility or hardware needs, please contact PlayR organizers in advance.

Registration

Opens Nov 25 at playrmasters.com. Signup is open to all—first come, first serve.

No invites, no qualifying tournaments. One team per organization. You can sign up remotely, but all play is on-site in Malmö.

Teams will receive confirmation and further instructions by email once registered.

Participation & Conduct

Teams or players with active VAC bans, integrity issues, or conflicts of interest may be declined participation by PlayR staff.

All participants and attendees are required to adhere to the event’s code of conduct and fair play policies.

One team per organization. Complete rules and regulations will be published at least two weeks before event start.
