Tournament Information
In January 2026 it’s time for the first edition of PlayR Masters, hosted inside PlayR by Faour in Malmö Mobilia. The event brings Counter-Strike 2 into a premium in-store LAN environment, combining high-performance setups, a competitive format, and a close-up audience atmosphere.
PlayR Masters features a 100,000 SEK prize pool and carries VRS Tier-2 status.
Across two days, 24 teams will compete on-site in Malmö where every match is played live, creating a high-energy CS2 experience for players and viewers.
This is a pure LAN tournament focused on competition, accessibility, and Malmö’s growing esports community. Identical setups, structured group play, and a full playoff bracket make PLAYR Masters a new center piece for Sweden’s CS2 grassroots scene.
Schedule
Friday, Jan 16: Group Stage (4 groups of 6 teams, Round Robin BO1). All matches are played live in-store for maximum excitement.
Saturday, Jan 17: Playoffs and Grand Final (Single Elimination BO3). The 8 best teams face off for the championship.
All matches take place at PlayR by Faour, Malmö Mobilia, with full audience access.
Prize Pool
1st: 50,000 SEK. 2nd: 25,000 SEK. 3rd–4th: 12,500 SEK each. The total prize pool is 100,000 SEK.
Payout and money policy will be published at playrmasters.com. All taxes and compliance requirements must be met.
No cash prizes will be paid until after full verification and adherence to participation regulations.
Setup & Hardware
All teams will compete on identical computers and monitors supplied and prepared by PlayR. Hardware specifications will be announced soon.
No external setups are permitted. This ensures fairness and consistency for all players competing at the event.

Registration
Opens Nov 25 at playrmasters.com. Signup is open to all - first come, first serve.
No invites, no qualifying tournaments. One team per organization. You can sign up remotely, but all play is on-site in Malmö.
Teams will receive confirmation and further instructions once registered.
Participation & Conduct
Teams or players with active VAC bans, integrity issues, or conflicts of interest may be declined participation by PlayR staff.
All participants and attendees are required to adhere to the event’s code of conduct and fair play policies.
One team per organization. Complete rules and regulations will be published at least two weeks before event start.
